Weekend - Jan. 14 & 15

Ok, so i was TOTALLY BAD - the tree is still standing!

Tyler and Victor had a great time. We had a ton of snow and i went out to shovel so his mom could turn around in the driveway and get a running start when she went back out. My game plan was to shovel the concrete and then get the Jeep out and run up and down the driveway to make tracks for her. I went outside at 9 and when she came at 9:45 i still didn't even have the concrete done and hadn't gotten the Jeep out yet. We had so much snow!!!!!

Saturday we hung out at home all day and watched it snow and snow and snow... When Terry came home from work he couldn't even tell that i had shoveled. He thought it was from when he shoveled before he went to work and i said "what, there is no way you shoved before work!" - just to give you an idea of how bad it was coming down.

Sunday it had finally stopped. Terry worked again and the boys and i went to have lunch with Daddy at work, went to visit Grandma and Papa, then stopped at Pleasant Ridge to see Grandma G and then to Giant Eagle. After that we went home and hung out the rest of the day.

Tyler is loving his four day weekend! We are almost done with the Boba book and he's almost done with Diary of a Wimpy Kid - Part 2. We hope to get them done and go to the library this weekend.

I was in a funk all weekend. I got almost all of the normal weekend chores done, but i did no scraping, reading or anything like that. I just seemed like everything took twice as long. I did get the pile of stuff that was growing in my corner of the bedroom cleaned up and put everything in its proper place so that felt good.

Sunday night Tyler and i watched the movie Bedtime Story(ies?) with Adam Sandler. It was pretty cute. While we watched it we played The Game of Life on the Nook and when the movie ended at 10:00 we snuck out to the kitchen and had oreos and milk (Terry and Dylan fell asleep around 9), then we went in his room and read 2 or 3 chapters of his Boba book before we went to bed. It was really fun to have some one on one time with him again. It makes me sad that we really haven't had much time to hang out together since Dilly came along. It was like old times!
