January 8, 2012 - The Day Buddy was Born!
Dilly finally got to go to Build-a-Bear (with his gift cards from Christmas) and he built a dog. His name is Buddy. He got a cowboy outfit (Woody from Toy Story costume), cowboy boots with spurs and a sweatshirt for everyday. He barks and has a soft, velvety heart. He's super cute and Dilly loves him. Maybe for Valentines Day I'll get him a gift card so he can buy him more clothes. He's already planning his next trip - "Next time i go I'm going to make Buddy a friend." He has been wanting to go for so long. I'm really glad i thought of gift cards for him for Christmas!
Tyler has been dying for the new Batman Lego sets to come out. We took him to Toys R Us yesterday and they finally have some in. They only had the Bat Cave though so we will have to keep looking before he can spend his gift cards. He wants Two-Face.
I got some more dividers for my scrap book idea/inspiration book project and got it almost done, but i went through an entire 50 pack of page protectors so now i have to get more of those! Needless to say, i have been cutting out idea for a long time:)
We also got paint and brushes for scouts tomorrow night and returned the stuff from their Christmas project that we didn't need so that we could get some of their money back for other projects.
We went out for a late lunch/early dinner so i did not have to cook!!! Then we went home and hung out the rest of the night. I worked on my book while Terry watched the game (Steelers had a Wildcard spot but they lost last night so he is SUPER excited that they are out of the playoffs). After several hours of this Dilly was getting very bored so i took him downstairs to watch a movie and i got ready for scouts tomorrow night and organized all the scout stuff in this old Rubbermaid three drawer thing i had that i was thinking of selling at the next garage sale. I'm so glad i didn't because it looks better than having all of those books down there and it is sooooo much easier for me to find things!
All in all, it was a great weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
