Happy New Year!
Well here we are again - another new year. I know I have failed at the resolution of keeping up this blog every year (or the starting of the blog which took a year or two also), but I FEEL IT this year!!!
I really want to do Project Life. I got everything i wanted for Christmas this year and some cash and craft/scrapbook store gift cards so i have the spare jing to do it! Too bad everything i want to order on Amazon has been sold out for the last month. Tyler is excited too and wants to help out. Scraping is so hard for me to find time for and i feel like i can never get the whole point/picture of our lives in the few layouts that i do/did manage to get made and honestly i have not scraped anything in the last three years. I just feel like this would take the pressure off of me to scrap every event and then i could just focus on scraping the really fun stuff or the things that I'm really inspired to scrap. Honestly, other than Halloween i think it's boring to scrap every Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. Yet at the same time i hate that almost all of our photos are on disc and no one looks at them. I just feel like this is a happy medium for me and that maybe it will inspire me to scrap more. Instead of me being so overwhelmed because i have eight years worth of stuff to scrap!
Please Amazon - restock the Project Life stuff ASAP. I could get the core kit, but then i would have to pay shipping and handling again for the dividers i need and the extra note cards - i hate that!! So for now, I have my album picked out and purchased and I'm just going to put everything for the weeks into a 12 x 12 or a 12 x 12 with the six pockets for 4x6s until Amazon is restocked. Plus, instead of spending all my time reading other peoples blogs and about their lives everyday, i first have to write about something that happened in MY/OUR life the day before - even if it is totally lame!
Here's to a new year and telling our story for my boys and their children to enjoy someday!
