Big Happenings

We have had some exciting things going on around the house lately. Tyler found his first loose tooth on Friday, August 27th on the way to the tractor pull and by Sunday night it was out. It came out while we were brushing his teeth. Thank goodness is got stuck in the bristles of his tooth brush and he didn't swallow it!! He also started school on Tuesday, August 31st. I can't believe he is in first grade already! He seems to like his new teacher and has about four of his Kindergarten buddies in his class. We were also excited to see Miss Denise pull up with bus No. 17 again this year!

Dylan, who has been bugging non-stop to go on the potty, finally got a potty seat a week ago. After many failed attempts, he finally went for the first time on the potty on Monday, August 30th. He is still obsessed with cows and dogs, had a blast at the fair. Mommy of course forgot to take her camera not once, but both times - NICE ONE!!! I'll have to make up for it at the Albion Fair!! He liked the tractor pulls, but hated the ear plugs. We forgot to bring his ear protection and he was less than thrilled about me sticking those little spongy things in his ears!!
