16 Months
I know, i'm behind again - but better late than never. Little Dylan is 16 months. Where did the time go? I can already barely remember you as a little tiny baby. You now have 4 teeth on top, 4 on the bottom, a big molar on your right and you have been working on the one on the left for the last month. We tease you because you constantly have your tongue in your cheek rubbing your sore little gums and it looks like you have a big pinch of chew in your cheek (your Daddy has that horrible habit - that's how i know the slang :)) Anyhow, i hope that bad boy comes through soon and stops bothering you.
You are still my helper and are learning more words. Or maybe i'm just learning more grunts. It seems we can carry on a whole conversation between your few words and many different grunts. I think Daddy let's you watch too many reruns of Tool Time!
You are also my little Drama King!! When you don't get your way or i can't understand what you want - watch out! The lip, the faces, the arms in the arm, the sliding in slow motion down the wall or kitchen cupboards as you pout - HYSTERICAL!!!!!! It is so hard for me not to laugh when you do this :)
My favorite thing is your hugs! You give the best hugs EVER. You hug so tight and hold on forever like you really, really mean it. No matter how bad my day is when i walk in the door and you come running up with a Dilly hug, it makes all the bad go away. The other thing that melts my heart is the way you run right now - i HAVE to get that on video!!
Your hair is totally insane and unfortunately, i think you are getting a buzz as soon as it gets above 50 around here. We have tried all of the oh-ahers (your word for the blow dryer, combs, hairbrushes, etc), styling creams, gels, mousse, etc and nothing helps. I hate to do it because i love the baby look, but it is soooo bad - you'll thank me someday. Grandma Sitter probably won't talk to me for months!!
Happy 16 Months sweet baby boy! Stop growing so fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
